Results from Thursday's dual meet.Rip 301 CECY 244.We had 56 time busters,and 2 team records were broken.The results are posted at the pool or on our web site www.cecydolphins.com. Congratulations to all the swimmers, and thanks to all the volunteers.  This meet ran much smoother.


We have another home meet this Monday 6/29 vs Shomen.  Our warm ups are at 5:00 and the meet starts at 6:00.  If you can't make the meet and have not signed the can't make it sheet, please email the coaches.

We ask every family to sign up to volunteer for something on the meet workers link below.

We need a minimum of 7 timers to run the meet...we were short handed last meet!

We also ask every family to sign up to bring something for the concession stand.   We do not need ketchup or mustard.  You can sign up on the concessions link below.

As a reminder the deadline for the Shomen Invitational entries is Wed. 7/1.  You can find the meet notice on our web site.

Results from last night's meet CECY 259 CDEL 250.  We had 68 time busters,16 swimmers made Championship qualifying times, and 1 team record was broken.  Congratulations to all the swimmers  and thanks to all the volunteers.


We would like to apologize for the late start and finish,both teams had first meet problems.  We will fix the problem and hopefully our next meet will run smoothly.

The Shomen Invitational is posted at the pool and on our web site.  This is a longer distance meet being held at Washington College Chestertown MD on Saturday July 11.  If you want to attend this meet you must fill out an invitational entry form and pay $4.00 per event, at the front desk at the Y.You are allowed to swim 4 events and there are no relays. The deadline for entries is Wed.7/1.

Greetings all,
As a reminder, we have a parents meeting on Wednesday 6/17 at 6:00 in the exergame room.
This is a first home meet preparation meeting,and should not take long.  Our first dual meet is
at home on Monday 6/22, and we have another home meet on Thursday 6/25.  Our warm ups are
at 5:00 and the meet starts at 6:00.  I have included links for both meets sign ups for volunteers and concessions
contributions.  We ask all family's to sign up to help with the meets, and to bring 1- food item, and 1- 12pk
of soda, water,or gatorade for the concession stand.  You can sign up right on the sign up genius links.
We will be going over this at the parents meeting.

Greetings All,

We had our team suit fitting last Friday. If you could not make the fitting and want to purchase a team suit, you can call the Swim Shop at 302-575-1224. They can help you with sizing and ship to your house. You can also visit the store at their location on 202 to purchase the suit. You may want to call ahead to be sure they have it in stock before you drive up. If you plan on buying equipment, make sure you mention your child swims for CECY to get the team discount.

WE NEED OFFICIALS!! 
If you want to become a swim official you must take a 1 hour
course offered at the Dover YMCA 1137 S.State St.  Dover DE this Saturday, 6/6 at 9:00 AM.
Please let me know if you are interested,and able to attend.  The course is free.

We are having our team pictures Monday, 6/8.Individual pictures will be from 5:30-6:00pm.  Team picture is at 6:00pm
All groups arrive at 5:30. Wear your team suit if you have one. If not no problem. Stay dry. 
Order forms will be available on top of the file cabinet at the pool,or from the photographer on Monday.
We will have practice after the pictures.If you have any questions please ask.

Thank you to all of the parents and swimmers that helped make this week a success!  We had a huge turnout this week for our first week of summer practice.  PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING THINGS:

1:  THERE IS NO PRACTICE MONDAY, MAY 25
2:  The first away meet on June 18 in Dover has been cancelled.  This is the first day of the Firefly Music Festival.  Those of      us who remember last year know why we've been there, done that and don't need to do it again.  See you next week          at the pool!


Please remember to register your swimmers. 

 Our first PARENTS' MEETING is this Wednesday at 6 pm.  Our parents are so important to make this team work.   Please come!
